Well sort of...

I would have to say today has been a bittersweet day for me. A happy day because I am immensely proud of the Hubs, but a sad day because it marked the end of a ritual. The Hubs and I both applied, and were accepted, to a three year course taught at our church, however...we applied a year apart with the Hubs starting a year ahead of me. Today marked the final day of this semester year for me, but it also marked the final day of the Hubs final year meaning our weekly ritual of attending Artios together on Wednesday evenings will be no more. While it has at times been challenging, I have always known the Hubs would be there to help me to make it through. After class each week the Hubs and I would go out to dinner and discuss the topics covered in each of our classes. With the Hubs being a year ahead of me, not only would he share his perspective and insight on the lesson I had just attended, but I would get a glimpse of what I could expect in my upcoming final year (trust me...I need all the help I can get!). While I am sad we will no longer be attending Artios together, I am extremely happy for, and immensely proud of, the Hubs for his dedication to expanding both his knowledge and his faith so that he may help others to do the same. His desire to help others and to be of service in our church is truly an inspiration to me and I only hope I can follow in his footsteps once I have completed my final year. Our hearts tend to feel a little lighter when we have someone we consider to be an inspiration , and I truly hope you have found someone you consider to be an inspiration as well.

Blessings, Candi 💕
