Apr. 22nd - The Day The Winter Apocalypse Was Funny 😂

As was a naked kitty and so many other things!

What better way to make a day special than to have a laughter filled lunch with a dear friend...I can't think of one at the momen, can you? I was fortunate enough today to be able to do just that, and I must say there were many laughs to be had. It has been quite a while since we have had the opportunity to be able to meet for lunch...since before the winter apocalypse of 2021 hit Central Texas to be exact. The Hubs and I were extremely fortunate during that horrible time, we lost neither power nor water, but my friend was not so fortunate...she not only lost both, but to add insult to injury her vehicle was literally frozen inside her garage! Thankfully she, her son, and their pets (including a naked kitty named Holly) came through the storm relatively unscathed. With that horrible week in the past we even found a few things which happened during that time we could laugh about, not many...but some. One thing we had a good laugh about was how exactly one keeps a naked kitty warm when you have no heat...just imagine a kitty burrito (a.k.a. a purrito). It was nice to be able to share not only a delicious meal together, but to be able to share all the good, bad, and funny life moments we've experienced since we were last able to get together. Time spent with a good friend will always brighten my day and lift my spirits, and I hope you have had your spirits lifted after having spent time with a good friend as well.
