What can I say...Jeep people are a unique breed!

It has been a wonderful Sunday for the Hubs and I. Beautiful weather, an inspiring life group lesson, and a wonderful sermon at church, all followed by a delicious lunch. Aside from attending life group, church, having a relaxing lunch, and the Hubs leading a small group at church in the evening, we tend to not set our plans in stone for our Sunday afternoons. Today after finishing lunch the Hubs and I decided to venture out and explore an estate sale nearby. I had originally planned to visit said estate sale on Friday, there seemed to be quite a large amount of fabric on offer I wanted to peruse, but the constant deluge of rain convinced me a change of plans was for the best. Being we really had no other plans, the Hubs and I decided we may as well see what, if anything, they would have left to offer on the last day of the sale (which is also the day they mark everything down by fifty percent...woo hoo!), and boy were we surprised when we arrived. There was quite a bit of merchandise left, and luckily for me there was an entire room whose walls were lined with tables of fabric stacked in piles two to three feet high...I was in heaven (I don't think the Hubs shared my enthusiasm though)! While I was up to my elbows in piles of fabric the Hubs decided to explore the rest of the house to see what it had to offer. He did not make it very far before he was engaged in conversation by the woman manning the payment table. It would seem she took notice of the shirt he was wearing with the word Jeep emblazoned across it, and began to regale the Hubs with tales of the Jeeps she and her family have owned. Happily their conversation lasted long enough for me to find quite a few pieces of fabric I decided to purchase (but by no means did I manage to browse all there was on offer). The Hubs' ability to engage in conversation with most everyone he meets has always fascinated me, and today that ability afforded me the opportunity to find quite a horde of fabric at a bargain price which made me rather happy indeed. I hope you have had a relaxing and wonderful Sunday as well.

Blessings, Candi 💕
