More accurately she fell off the window...it's a good thing we have a single story home!

Knowing it would be a gray and bleak day, I had planned to have a quiet day working on a few designs I had floating around in my head for crafting projects. I had been making quite a bit of progress when I heard a rather unsettling noise. As I turned to investigate the cause of said noise, I was greeted by the sight of Stitch clawing at her window perch in a desperate attempt to keep from falling to the floor. While I am not quite sure how it happened, it would seem one of the supports of her window perch had come loose causing her to be rather unceremoniously dumped out of her napping spot into the floor. Please let me allay any fears you may have that she may have been injured...in true cat form she managed to land on all four paws, but I must admit she was more than just a bit upset when she finally did land. Almost immediately upon landing she bolted away as quickly as she possibly could, but not before turning to give me a look which clearly conveyed she felt the entire humiliating event had been wholly my fault. While I will admit to having been the hooman whom purchased and installed the offending window perch, I fail to see just how, exactly, this unfortunate event could be my fault (both Lilibet and Stitch have been safely napping in the perch for over a year, so I seriously doubt it was an installation issue). Knowing Stitch had suffered no injuries (other than the one to her pride), I couldn't help but be amused by the entire event (really...you should have seen the look she gave me!). She eventually resurfaced, and even though I had reattached her window perch, she opted to utilize the loveseat for her new napping spot. I must admit, while I will never understand just what it is that goes on in a cat's mind they can, at times, certainly be amusing creatures. I hope you have witnessed an amusing event today as well.

Blessings, Candi 💕
