Apr. 5th - The Day Piglet Turned Purple 💜

More of a pastel lilac shade really...

Hello my faithful readers! I'm sorry I've been missing for a while...I just haven't felt very well and it seems to have created a case of writer's block, but I'm feeling much better today, and ready to get back to sharing the little things that make my day a little better. Now that I'm finally feeling more like myself (Covid's lingering effects are no joke for sure!), I met a close friend for lunch and some shopping. The original intent of our shopping trip was for my friend to find a new pair of sandals, but nothing seemed to strike her fancy, nor mine either. While we were both a bit disappointed, we realized that as luck would have it, the shoe store is located next door to one of our favorite craft supply stores so we decided to head over there to see what if anything might strike our fancy. While I didn't find much in the way of crafting supplies, I did happen to spot an adorable dog outfit (I know...who would have thought a craft store would have cute dog outfits) I thought would be perfect for my little sweet pea Piglet Grace. I wasn't quite sure I wanted to purchase it for her (she really, really, really isn't a fan of dog outfits...Lol), but each time I passed by it I was reminded of the sweater she was in the day the Hubs and I picked her up from the rescue. The thought of seeing her in something similar brought back memories of just how adorable she looked that day, as well as a big smile to my face. I hope you too come across some small item that brings back happy memories.
