Oh but it was soooooo worth it!

It‘s been a cold, wet, and windy day here in Central Texas yet, in spite of the overall gloomy feel to the day, it has still been a wonderful day. As I sit here sipping on a warm cup of chamomile tea, I can’t help but smile thinking of a day full of good food, fun times, and fellowship with wonderful friends. The Hubs and I spent this afternoon with our Life Group family enjoying some yummy finger foods and a fun white elephant Christmas gift exchange. The Hubs scored some neck gators and a set of cups that will be perfect for his much enjoyed (and at times much needed!) caffeine fix in the form of an espresso, and I scooped up a beautiful 500 piece puzzle I’m hoping will keep me occupied for a few days as it looks as if the weather does not feel inclined to change for the rest of this week unfortunately. Our life group family is blessed to be made up of a wonderful group of people who have many varied skills, hobbies, and interests, and today we were introduced to a new venture one couple in our group has recently undertaken. They have long enjoyed making their own candles, blending a plethora of different scent combinations to create a large selection of fragrances, and they have now taken the next step and begun marketing them online. As I inhaled the wonderful scents I experienced a myriad of feelings, bringing a sense warmth and happiness, and couldn’t resist purchasing several of their wonderful candles to bring a touch of holiday scent to my home. If you are someone who enjoys the warmth and ambience a wonderfully fragranced candle brings to your home I encourage you to visit their website at www.ironbridgecreations.com. I promise you won’t be disappointed! I hope you too have had a wonderful day spent with those you love.
Blessings, Candi 💕
