Now, what to do with all the extra space...

The Hubs and I have called ourselves empty nesters for some time now, as that is the name of our life group family, but we have not truly met the definition of empty nesters...that is, until today. It’s been a bittersweet day for the Hubs and I. As I posted a few days ago, the Hubs youngest has graduated college and today she has taken the next major step into adulthood...she has moved out to live with her beau. While I am sad to see her leave our nest (although I’d be lying if I said I haven’t already starting planning how to use her newly vacated room), I am immensely proud of the remarkable young woman she has become. Having only just graduated college, she has already been offered a temporary position with the school in which she completed her teaching hours, and I have no doubt she will soon be offered a permanent position. The eagerness she has shown to venture out into the world on her own and accept the responsibilities that come with adulthood has made both the Hubs and I incredibly proud of her. I have no doubt she will accomplish whatever it is she sets out to achieve and become an upstanding and valued member of society. I am inspired by her eagerness and cannot wait to see where she goes from here. Hopefully you too have been inspired by someone you love.
Blessings, Candi 💕
