“How did it snow in the living room?“ you ask...on the TV silly!

Although it’s not been particularly warm here in Central Texas, it certainly has not been cold enough for it to snow...much less in the living room. I must admit, having grown up in Connecticut and experienced the great blizzard of 1978, as well as many other New England winters (hence the reason I now reside in Central Texas), I am just fine with experiencing snow only on the TV. But I digress, and by now I’m sure you’d like me to explain why it’s a special occurrence for it to be snowing on the TV. The Hubs and I have had a long standing tradition of attending the Christmas concert performance of Trans Siberian Orchestra. Sadly, their tour, like so many others this past year, has been cancelled due to the restrictions put in place because of COVID. While I had resigned myself to the idea there would be no concert to attend this year, the Hubs had other ideas. As he is a member of the TSO fan club, he received an email notification announcing TSO would be presenting a live stream version of their Christmas concert. He shared the information with me yesterday that said live stream concert would air this evening and we would be enjoying TSO’s Christmas concert from the comfort of our living room. While it was not quite the same as being there in person, it was nice not to have to give up another experience I love due to the circumstances of this bizarre year. Knowing the Hubs made this happen to bring some semblance of normalcy to what has been an extremely difficult year for me means more to me then he could ever know. Hopefully someone you love has helped to bring you a sense of normalcy in this strange year as well.

Blessings, Candi 💕
