Dec. 22nd - The Day All I Could Hear Was Jeff Foxworthy 👂

“You might be a redneck if...”

A lot of my day was spent traveling from store to store in search of crafting supplies. Due to an untimely catastrophe, apparently some sort of water leak, one of my local craft supply stores had to close down yesterday and remained closed today, so I had to make an impromptu trip thirty five miles south in order to get the curbside pickup order I placed yesterday. Luckily I was still able to obtain most of the items from my original order (thus avoiding me having a major hissy fit...Lol). As I headed into the third store of the day, I caught sight of a vehicle in the parking lot that apparently had a faulty rear license plate light. I’m assuming the owner of said vehicle either didn’t want to replace the original light, or possibly thought it would be too expensive to do so, and not wanting to be ticketed for a faulty rear license plate light, took matters into their own hands. If having a tiny flashlight zip tied to your license plate doesn’t scream redneck then I don’t know what does! I have to say...I do applaud their ingenuity though! It was at that moment the voice of Jeff Foxworthy popped into my head with his infamous “you might be a redneck“ line, resulting in me giggling all the way across the parking lot into the store! After having my day off to a bad start this morning, this was just the sort of comic relief I needed to reset my attitude allowing me to better enjoy the rest of my day. I hope if you find your day off to a bad start you too will catch sight of something to provide you with a little comic relief as well.
