Dec. 24th - The Day I Sent Wishes Of Peace And Joy 🕊

And a Merry Christmas!

Today’s post will be short and sweet being it is Christmas Eve, and I won’t be posting tomorrow as it’s a day we should all spend enjoying family, should our professions allow.

It has been a typical Christmas Eve day for the Hubs and I, a half day at work for the Hubs, a morning of housework for myself, and last minute Christmas shopping this afternoon for both the Hubs and I, followed by a wonderful Christmas Eve service at our church. It seems no matter how well intentioned the Hubs and I are about completing our Christmas shopping early, we inevitably find ourselves out and about on Christmas Eve looking for those last minute gifts and stocking stuffers (even in these times of social distancing the stores were still insanely busy!). As I sit here on the couch enjoying some much needed quiet time, I can’t help but reflect on the spirit of kindness and joy this time of year brings out in most of us. It is with this spirit mind, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I hope you and yours have a peaceful and joyous day tomorrow.
