And it felt oh so good!!!

Now that Mother Nature‘s winter apocalypse has been fully banished from Central Texas I have finally been able to escape the house...woo hoo! The temperatures have risen, the snow and ice have disappeared, and the roads are back to normal, so the two doctors appointments I had cancelled last week have been rescheduled...hence my reason for escaping today. I was supposed to begin my Myer’s IV treatment for post COVID issues last week, but unfortunately it was the first of my two appointments to fall victim to a winter apocalypse induced cancellation. I must say, my doctor definitely has a dedicated staff, I was called on Saturday to reschedule my appointment, and thankfully was able to reschedule for exactly a week from the date of my original appointment. Things went well with the treatment, and I was only subjected to the site of a needle in my arm (I have no issues with needles...unless they are in me!) for a relatively short forty five minutes. Having survived my first IV session I headed home, and that was when I witnessed one of my favorite sights...a pup with his/her head hanging out of a car window...ears and tongue both flapping in the wind. The look of joy on his/her little face was priceless! I have to admit...I was a tad bit jealous! If I could have managed to drive safely with my head out the truck window, I may have tried it for myself! I am always impressed with a dog’s ability to make the best of the little pleasures in life...a skill I aspire to attain daily. I hope you too will aspire to make the best of the little pleasures in life.

Blessings, Candi 💕
