And they could really have used a good brushing!

Anyone who knows me knows I am a BIG animal lover! I love them all, big or small, domestic or exotic...I just want to pet and love on them if I can! Truth be told, there are times I much prefer the company of animals to humans! There are, however, definitely a few exceptions to the rule. You will never see me rushing to cuddle most reptiles, insects, or spiders as I don’t find them to be even the least bit cuddly! Today I was looking through the photos on my phone and came across the photo of a baby zebra a friend sent me. This particular friend is blessed to have a job that affords her the opportunity to interact with a few small equines, including a baby zebra (and yes...I am extremely jealous of that fact!). It would seem on this particular day said baby zebra was feeling extremely photogenic, and felt inclined to flash an extremely toothy grin for his close up. You could almost imagine the little guy saying the zebra equivalent of “cheese”! The sight of that toothy, if somewhat messy, grin just made me giggle. I couldn’t help but be amused by the look of sheer glee this adorable little creature had on his face. It’s the sort of smile which reminds you that no matter what type of day you may be having, there is always a reason to crack a big ole smile. You never know, the sight of your smile just might make someone else’s day a little bit brighter. Hopefully you too have found something to smile about today.

Blessings, Candi 💕
