Not all of it...just a nice little section of Central Texas.

It has been another beautiful day here in Central Texas...not too warm, not too cold, with a sky full of puffy white clouds and sunshine. The sort of weather which makes you feel like taking a nice “Sunday drive”, and since it is a Sunday, that’s exactly what the Hubs and I decided to do. After enjoying a delicious lunch with a group of close friends from church, the Hubs and I hit the open road to see just where it would take us for the afternoon. Although spring has not yet made a full appearance here in Central Texas, there is still no lack of scenery to be found while driving through our little section of the world. As the Hubs and I wandered the many farm to market and county roads in the area, I enjoyed the opportunity to just sit and watch the world go by. We passed through quaint little towns, past numerous fields...some greener than others, and many farms and ranches with pastures full of differing types of livestock (all of which I made sure to call out to the Hubs as we passed by...he just loves it when I do that, Lol!), enjoying the opportunity to spend a nice quiet afternoon without the distractions of everyday life and technology intruding. In today’s fast paced and high pressure world it is sometimes difficult to find the time to take a simple “Sunday drive” and enjoy the beauty of the world around us, but I’m glad the Hubs and I did today. Not only did I get to see some beautiful countryside, I got spend some much needed technology free time with my best friend. I hope you too will take some time away from technology and enjoy the beauty of the world around you, and if you can do so with your best friend so much the better.

Blessings, Candi 💕
