Mar. 10th - The Day I Had A Date 💖

Don’t worry...it was with the Hubs!

Even with overcast skies it’s still been a nice day here in Central Texas. After a nice relaxing morning I headed to my hair stylist’s shop for a much needed cut and color, and then I was off to run a few errands. As I was out and about I received a text message from the Hubs. On any other Wednesday evening both the Hubs and I would be attending our respective Artios classes, but with this week being spring break here in Central Texas classes were canceled. While I would not be attending class this evening, the Hubs was asked to attend another meeting elsewhere this evening, hence the reason for the text. Before committing himself to the meeting he wanted to be sure I did not mind if he attended, but he did put forth the idea of us meeting for dinner before he attended his meeting which I happily agreed to. I’ve posted before that the Hubs’ job can be a very demanding one, and we don’t always get to spend a lot of time together. Knowing how much I cherish the time we do get to spend together the Hubs wanted to be sure we did not miss out on the chance to spend time together this evening, hence the dinner invitation. It’s a rare treat to have a dinner date with the Hubs, especially with the events of this past year, making this evening’s date all the more special. Hopefully you’ve been able to spend quality time with someone you love today as well.
