No worries though...I’ve been called much worse!

It’s been a beautiful day here in Central Texas. Even though it was an extremely windy day the temperatures are back to a normal range (as close to normal as you can get in Central Texas anyway), making it the perfect day to get out of the house. I had a dear friend who invited me to lunch and a shopping excursion to a new boutique she had found, and today was the perfect day for such an outing. After we had enjoyed our yummy lunch, we headed to the boutique and got down to the business of shopping! We had no lack of items to peruse as this particular boutique encompassed nine thousand square feet as the owner informed us as she welcomed us into her establishment. Normally I am what some would consider a power shopper, but since I have been introduced to the wonders you can create with a Cricut machine I view boutique shopping in a whole new light...I no longer look at items and think “I just have to have that”, I look at them and say “I can make that myself“! My friend is also a crafter so we spent most of our time pointing out projects we could make ourselves, and secretly taking pictures for inspiration. With our shopping finished, and having been inspired by several items, I headed home and decided to try my hand at using infusible ink and my Cricut to create an imprinted tote bag. I can’t explain how it works, it’s some sort of chemical reaction or some such thing, but after sharing a picture of my creation with my friend she told me told me I was “a crafty witch” as surely the infusible ink process must be some sort of witchcraft or voodoo. I can’t say I disagree...it sure did seem like some sort of witchcraft or voodoo must be involved...I mean it didn’t even fade or bleed when I washed and dried it! It’s always nice when a new endeavor works out, but being able to share it with a dear friend (even if she did call me a witch...lol) makes it all the more rewarding. I hope you too have a dear friend to share your accomplishments with, and maybe even have a laugh with should they call you names.
Blessings, Candi 💕
