Now if I could just get it to work!!

It’s been a busy day for me, but it’s been the good sort of busy. Once again I had to visit my doctor’s office for the fourth of my twelve IV treatments. After I finished at the doctor I was off to run some errands and grab a bite to eat for lunch. With all those tasks completed it was time to head home and get caught up on the laundry we had managed to accumulate during our two and a half day weekend. I’m sure you’re probably saying to yourself “that doesn’t sound like a good sort of busy”, but I knew once I had completed all my domestic tasks I would be able to unbox the new toy the Hubs purchased for me this weekend. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts...I have become a craft addict...and the Hubs is definitely my enabler! Over the weekend the Hubs purchased a Cricut mug press so I could try my hand at a new craft...creating customized mugs using infusible ink and sublimation mugs. I had been eagerly awaiting my first attempt at a customized mug, and had even created my first design. With all my domestic tasks completed, it was finally time to unbox my new toy...yippee! After having gotten the Cricut Maker started printing out the design, I opened the mug press box in order to get it set up...that’s when I was confronted with an unwelcome surprise. In order to use the mug press I had to register it with Cricut and that could only be done using a laptop or desktop...I had neither (I have an iPad...UGH!!!!), but luckily the Hubs has a MacBook (PHEW!!!!) and was willing to let me use it in order to register my mug press. Even though I wasn’t able to complete my project I was still excited knowing tomorrow there will be no stopping me and I will be watching my design come become a reality. The anticipation of seeing my design come to life offset the disappointment of not being able to use the mug press this afternoon and that definitely made me happy. I hope you too have a project you are excited at the thought of completing, it’s always good to experience the satisfaction of a completed project.
Blessings, Candi 💕
