Mar. 18th - The Day The Winds Of Change Blew In 🌬

I knew I couldn’t trust that dang leprechaun!

It would seem that greedy little leprechaun not only took his pot of gold with him, he also took the lovely spring weather he brought as well. While it’s certainly been a beautifully sunny day, it has also been an extremely windy and much cooler day today. With temperatures dropping from the high seventies into the low to mid sixties, today has been quite the change from yesterday. Having lived in Central Texas for over five years now I am rarely surprised with the fickleness of it’s weather (with the exception of the winter apocalypse of 2021), however it would seem Piglet and Pogo where quite shocked by the change. As they both went bombing out the patio door to do their business a strong gust of rather chilly wind swept across the back patio which seemed to be quite the shock to them both. Poor Piglet’s ears were blown straight out and Pogo’s fur was blown backwards...needless to say they were both highly motivated to complete their business as quickly as possible. As I watched them both finish and run back to the patio door as quickly as their little paws would carry them I couldn’t help but have a little laugh. My laugh was short lived however as yet another gust of chilly wind blew in the patio door as I stood there and I was quickly introduced to the same conditions Piglet and Pogo had experienced...now I had to have a little laugh at myself as well. Even if I was slightly chilled by the wind it felt good to have a little laugh. I hope you too have found something to laugh at today as well.
