Turns out he was more teddy bear than bruiser.

It has been quite the busy day for me...lots of errands to run, and apparently most of the population of Central Texas decided today was the day to run their errands as well. With Governor Abbott's recent announcement rescinding the face mask order and opening businesses back to full capacity, it would seem the good people of Central Texas have decided it is time to get back to normal (a sentiment I wholeheartedly endorse). While I had run my errands earlier in the afternoon, the Hubs and I still had one errand to run after he finished his work day. Said errand brought us to Best Buy, and I can't remember the last time I saw a crowd like the one I saw today (I guess there were a lot of people looking to spend their recently acquired stimulus checks)! As the Hubs and I approached the entrance I happened to spot one of the biggest and stockiest pitbulls I have ever seen, but sadly I didn't have the opportunity to pet him (and you know I really wanted to). With the disappointment of not being able to pet that handsome bruiser put aside, the Hubs and I ventured into the store to complete our errand. As I said before, the crowd inside Best Buy was insanely large so it took a while to find someone to help us and complete our purchase, but we eventually did just that. As we turned to leave that handsome bruiser was coming down the aisle towards us, so of course I just had to pet him. While he may have had an intimidating appearance, his demeanor was quite the opposite...he was just a big ole teddy bear who wanted nothing more than to be petted. I have to admit, it always brightens my day to meet a new critter to love on. Hopefully there has been something to brighten your day as well.

Blessings, Candi 💕
