Mar. 3rd - The Day A Dog Came Bearing Gifts For A Little Brown Squirrel 🐿

Although...I’m not sure he was actually willing to give one of them up.

After what turned out to be a very rocky start to my day I decided I needed a little bit of a distraction this morning. A few days ago I stumbled across a Facebook group by the name of UPS Dogs and it was just what I needed this morning. As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, it’s a group in which UPS drivers post pictures or videos of the dogs they encounter while driving their routes. As I was scrolling through today’s posts I came across a photo taken by a UPS driver here in Texas and for some reason it just struck me as funny. I’m not sure if it was the sight of what appears to be the rack of a seven point buck seemingly be offered up as a gift, or the sight of the adorable tiny puppy being dwarfed by those antlers, but the first thought that popped into my head was...is the golden retriever offering those antlers in exchange for a treat, or is he perhaps begging Mr. UPS driver (a.k.a. little brown squirrel) to take this annoying twerp of a puppy away. I have to admit, if it was me driving that truck today I’d probably have myself a new puppy, and there would be an extremely happy golden retriever with lots of treats, an impressive set of antlers, and no more annoying twerp of a puppy to deal with...lol! Even on what seems like the worst of days, if we have a willingness to change our mindset and keep our eyes open, we might just stumble across something that allows us to do just that. I hope you too will find something to help shift your mindset should you have a rocky start to your day.
