Okay...so less of a master and more of a maker of key keepers.

This Saturday was the Hub‘s Saturday to work so I decided I would spend the day in my craft room working on my life group project. I am happy to say I have finally finished half of phase two of the project...woo hoo! I know you’re probably saying to yourself “why be so happy to have finished half a project?”...well I can be so happy simply because it means I am that much closer to fully completing a project I was not sure I really had the skill to finish. Having grown up in a family full of perfectionists means I have always been extremely hard on myself if I‘m not able to complete a project to perfection (not that I’m saying I’m perfect....far from it!) and it’s taken me many years to accept perfection is an unattainable ideal. While the key chains I finished today may not be perfect, they do represent my best efforts, and to me knowing I’ve done the best job I can do in creating those key chains makes me happy. Having completed those key chains also gives me the confidence to dive into the second half of phase two, and if the bracelets I still have to make come out as well as the key chains I will be thrilled with them as well...perfect or not. I hope you too will allow yourself to not only not be perfect, but to be happy knowing you’ve done the best you can at any task.

Blessings, Candi 💕
