Mar. 7th - The Day I Learned Dogs Run On Dunkin’ Too 🍩

At least the two doxies ahead of us did!

Amazingly the Hubs and I managed to get up and around early enough to allow ourselves the luxury of going to Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee this morning on our way to church (those who know me will tell you...being early is not usually something that happens with me). After the Hubs had placed our order, we pulled up to the car in front of us and settled in to await our turn to have the life changing liquid known to most people as coffee freshly prepared and handed to us. As we sat there in line we couldn’t help but notice the two little doxies in the car ahead of us. One of the little pups was so eager for his/her donut he/she could not keep from hanging out of the car window in eager anticipation. Immediately the slogan “America runs on Dunkin” popped into my head, yet my brain altered it causing me to let out a giggle...this of course prompted the Hubs to ask what was so funny to which I replied “apparently doxies run on Dunkin as well!”. I’m not quite sure he found it as amusing as I did, but regardless it still made me laugh. I couldn’t help but let out another laugh as I watched the second of those eager little doxies climb into mom’s lap as well headed for the window, quickly prompting mom to grab each one by the harness and place them into the passenger seat. I can only hope they did not ruin their chance at getting their yummy little treat from Dunkin, I would hate to think only humans run on Dunkin! Those cute little doxies provided me with a moments amusement this morning, and I hope you too have had an amusing moment today as well.
