Or maybe curiosity just got the better of her.

Almost a week ago I wrote a post about our cat Stitch entitled The Day Stitch Fell Out The Window telling the story of how our poor misfortunate Stitch was rudely dropped to the floor when her window perch (a.k.a. one of her favorite napping spots) somehow came apart (again...I strongly protest said occurrence was in any way due to faulty assembly). While the window perch was quickly repaired (and tested for safety) she simply refused to trust it would safely hold her, and resorted to what I am assuming she felt was a much more reliable napping spot...the loveseat. For almost a full week now she has avoided the window perch...until today. It would seem true to her feline nature she is simply not capable of overcoming her curiosity and must know, what exactly, may be happening outside “her“ window. She did seem rather content to have her favorite vantage point, and napping spot, back...but I’m still not certain she has accepted, or ever will accept, the fact that the terrible indignity she suffered the day her perch collapsed was not entirely my fault. If the look she gave me that day is any indication...I may be on her sh*t list for some time to come. Regardless, I am happy to see she has overcome her fear and is once more able to enjoy two of her favorite pastimes...surveying her kingdom and napping. Watching her do the former brought a smile to my face today, and I hope by sharing this story I may have brought a smile to your face today as well.
Blessings, Candi 💕
