Wow...it is nearly impossible to get a good picture of a rain drop with an iPhone!

It has been a rare, yet typical, fall/winter day here in Central Texas...cloud covered, chilly, and rainy. I’m sure you are wondering...just what is there about the type of day I’ve just described that could possibly make me smile. I must admit, normally there isn’t much about a day like to today that would make me smile, but today I am. As I’m sure you can imagine there are very few days in Central Texas during which you can enjoy a nice cozy fire, but today is a perfect example of one of those rare days. The Hubs has had to work today, but his work day has come to an end and hopefully I can convince him to start a nice cozy fire (in light of the fact that I am extremely accident prone I am not allowed to start a fire unsupervised...Lol). If you’ve read some of my earlier blog posts you know the Hubs has a very demanding job and the days we get to spend quality time together are precious to me. It is such a wonderful, heartwarming feeling to be able to snuggle up with someone you love in front of a nice cozy fire, and having the opportunity to do so with the Hubs has definitely made what could have been a dreary day a wonderful one. Hopefully there is someone in your life that the thought of snuggling up with makes your heart feel wonderful on even the dreariest of days.
Blessings, Candi 💕
