Well, maybe not real nomads...more like part time nomads.

Today was the day the Hubs and I were finally able to pick up the travel trailer we purchased over two months ago...yippee!! We have been eagerly awaiting this day for what has seemed an eternity! I won’t bore you with all the details as to why it took so long for us to finally be able to pick up our travel trailer, let’s just say the delay was an appliance related issue made even more difficult to resolve thanks to COVID (stupid 2020 strikes again). Now that we finally have possession of our travel trailer we cannot wait to hit the open road! The Hubs has already planned a short weekend getaway to Galveston as our maiden trip, complete with a gulf front campsite, and let me tell you...I cannot wait to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves hitting the beach!! We had originally planned a mid May vacation to Greece, but those plans were scrapped thanks to bans on international travel, so we have decided it’s time to check off some of our bucket list items of places we‘d like to see in the continental US. Provided we don’t experience a major catastrophe on our maiden voyage (prayers would be greatly appreciated...Lol), we will be setting off in November to see the Grand Canyon via a trip through Arizona and New Mexico, all of which are parts of this country I have never had the chance to explore. Now that we are literally towing our accommodations behind us, we can head out and hit the open road whenever the urge strikes. I am so excited to see new parts of this country, but the most exciting thing about it all is being able to do so with my best friend, the Hubs! I hope you too will be able to explore new territories, and hopefully be able to do so with the your best friend as well.

Blessings, Candi 💕
