Oct. 12th - The Day Lilibet Didn’t Want To Be Disturbed 💤

She also thought it would be just purrfect if I’d keep those stupid dogs away too.

To date I have introduced you to three of my four critters, please allow me to introduce you to the fourth, Lilibet. Lilibet is the oldest of the bunch and she definitely rules the roost! While Piglet and Pogo have no qualms about chasing Stitch around the house, they have both learned the hard way (i.e. encountering the business end of a set of claws) Lilibet is NOT to be messed with! It seems today Lilibet felt spending the day curled up on the couch was the thing to do and I have to admit I thought it was a pretty good idea myself. So often we are so busy dealing with the daily grind we forget we need to allow ourselves to take the time to recharge, to hang up the proverbial do not disturb sign. While today may not have been a very productive day, it was most certainly a restorative day. It was also a rare event having Lilibet spend the day in such close proximity to me as she is definitely one of those cats who is, as I said yesterday, at best aloof and at worst bi-polar. I have to confess, it was really quite nice seeing Lilibet’s sweet side, even if it was because she was deeply asleep...Lol. I hope you will remember to hang up your do not disturb sign and allow yourself the time to recharge as well.
