Decidedly uneasy on Piglet’s part, but Lilibet could care less...she is the boss after all!

It’s been a beautiful day here in Texas and my critters have most definitely been taking advantage of the wonderful weather. Lilibet has spent the majority of the day languishing on the patio, only moving occasionally to find a new napping spot. Piglet and Pogo have both been in and out several times, making sure to give Lilibet a wide berth so as to not disturb her nap. That is until Piglet decided she wanted to do a little bit of sun worshiping. I must admit I was quite shocked to see Piglet head for the one little spot of sun still remaining on the patio, especially since it was in such close proximity to Lilibet. As I’ve mentioned before, Piglet has experienced the business end of Lilibet’s claws and it’s an experience she has not forgotten (complete with the scars to prove it). Watching Piglet gingerly settle down in the tiny patch of sunlight made me smile just a little. It’s a rare experience to see these two in such close proximity, so to see it today was special. The sight of these two so close to each other brought to mind the divisions we are experiencing in today’s world, and gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, the rest of us can do the same and start to heal those divisions.
Blessings, Candi 💕
