What a strange two days they have been!

ree

First, let me start by apologizing for not publishing a post yesterday. I am deeply saddened by the fact that my heart just was not in it yesterday. After spending the past two weeks nursing the Hubs through what could only be described as some of the worst days we have been through together, I thought we had finally put the final nail in COVID’s coffin...not so! While the the Hubs was doing much better, I took a nasty turn for the worse Sunday and all day yesterday. I won’t get into details, just suffice it to say that keeping myself upright was a monumental task, let alone trying to be creative and publish an uplifting post. After some excellent nursing from the Hubs, and hours and hours of restorative sleep, it looks like we can officially put this COVID nonsense to bed (thank the Lord)! I am shocked at how much different I feel today compared to yesterday, and can only describe it as miraculous! If I have learned anything in the past two weeks it is this...with the Hubs at my side, me at his, and the Lord at both our sides, we can defeat anything that is thrown at us! We’ve been through tough times before, and I am sure we will again, but I now know there is nothing that can be thrown at us we won’t be able to handle. This experience, while being a horrific one, has brought us closer together and solidified our relationship in a way that can never be broken. While I would never wish this type of experience on anyone, I do hope you have someone in your life you know you can rely on and grow closer to in the bad times as well as the good times, and should you not at the moment, I hope you do find that someone soon. We all need someone to lean on!

Blessings, Candi 💕
