Oct. 7th - The Day I Had To Relearn How To Apply Makeup 💄

Believe me...it’s much better if I do have on makeup!

Okay, so you’re probably wondering...”what’s the big deal about putting on makeup?!”. It’s not so much the fact that I was putting on makeup, more the reason why I was putting on makeup. I get to go out into the world and interact with actual human beings other than the Hubs!! Don’t get me wrong, I love the Hubs more than you could imagine, but spending two weeks living in opposite ends of the house and having limited contact is not exactly my idea of a fun time. Now that we have rid our household of COVID, we can both emerge into the world again. I may only be going to class, but I’m still going somewhere actual humans will be too (I guess it’s a good thing I did my homework). In today’s crazy world we sometimes forget to slow down and enjoy the company of family and friends, or even the occasional chat with a stranger in the checkout line, but you don’t realize how much those interactions mean until they aren’t there. These past two weeks have taught me just how precious time with family and friends is and I intend to make sure I slow down enough to enjoy it from now on! I hope you take time to spend with your family and friends, and maybe even the occasional stranger in the checkout line. You never know...that stranger could be me!
