How does one take a tour of Tours you ask...simple, you just have to drive through the tiny town of Tours, Texas!

I had planned on spending most of the day on my own. The Hubs unexpectedly had to work on what was supposed to be his day off. I had made my peace with the situation and made plans that would keep me busy for most of the day. I was just about to head out and run errands when the Hubs texted me...”I’m about to duck out of here...feel like company while you run your errands?”. Did I feel like company...Heck Yeah! The Hubs has a pretty demanding job and we don’t always get the opportunity to spend quality time together. We headed out to run those errands and ending up taking a little road trip. As we were driving down one of Texas’ many random back roads the Hubs caught sight of an interesting structure in the distance. We decided it would be worth it to try and find out what that interesting structure was and headed towards it. After traveling down one or two even more random back roads we found ourselves in the tiny town of Tours, Texas. That interesting structure we had seen in the distance was in fact St Martin’s Church, one of the quaintest little churches I have ever seen. Finding hidden little gems like this one in the most unexpected of places is special, finding this little gem with the Hubs was even more special. I hope you get the opportunity to find your own hidden little gem with someone special as well.

Blessings - Candi 💕
