Sept. 20th - The Day The Nice Guy Didn’t Finish Last 🏃

You might be wondering...“If the nice guy didn’t finish in last place, where did he finish?”...this particular nice guy finished in third(ish) place.

The Hubs and I had just enjoyed a nice lunch out after church when the Hubs excused himself to use the restroom (please don’t tell him I told you that!). While the Hubs was otherwise occupied, I did what most everyone does and picked up my cell phone. While I was perusing the news sites I came across an article that made me feel just a little bit better about the state of humanity in this world. The nice guy in this story showed me there are still people out there that do care about someone beside themselves, and in this case even a rival competitor. The act of sportsmanship and kindness displayed by this particular nice guy is something that you don’t see very often anymore, and it made my heart feel a little lighter than it had the moment before.
