Sept. 27th - The Day I Received An Unexpected Thank You ☺️

Well...that’s the way I interpreted it anyway.

I was in the process of enjoying a nice lazy Sunday afternoon after having attended both life group and church via the internet (thank you stupid COVID). I had just found a decent game to watch and settled in to work on my latest embroidery project when both of my dogs decided they needed to go outside. I swear they know just when you’ve gotten all nice and comfy and they just can’t have that...the little stinkers! After putting aside my embroidery project, getting out from under my cozy couch blanket, and un-reclining the recliner, I headed to the patio door to let my two little stinkers out. As I was reaching for the door handle, I suddenly found myself eye to eye with most beautiful little hummingbird. That beautiful little hummingbird just hovered there for a moment, almost as if it was saying “Thank you for filling our feeder with fresh nectar”. The moment didn’t last long, but the few seconds that beautiful little creature hovered just outside the patio door were mesmerizing and brought a huge smile to my face. The beauty of nature never ceases to amaze me! Sadly, I was not able to get a picture of that beautiful little hummingbird, as I’ve said before...they’re bashful little creatures. I hope you find something beautiful in nature and that it brings a huge smile to your face as well.
