Sept. 30th - The Day A Positive Was A Negative 🦠

Still...I’m determined to find a positive in the negative!

It seems that COVID has taken a firm foothold in our household. I received the results of my COVID test earlier today and it was positive, I have the dreaded COVID. While it may seem difficult to find anything uplifting in a positive COVID diagnosis, I am still determined to do so! This nasty virus has had the Hubs down for a full week, and I haven’t felt so great myself for the past few days. Even with all that, there is still a positive to be found, neither of us has had to be hospitalized (thank the Lord), and we have both been given a course of treatment by our doctors. While this virus is not to be taken lightly, we have both been spared the more dire effects this virus can present with, and with both of us here for each other, we will defeat COVID. As I said yesterday, the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from family, both biological and non-biological has been truly uplifting for us both. We CAN and we WILL get through this, thanks to all the love, support, and prayers, and we will be stronger for it. I hope all of you out there manage to avoid this horrid virus, but should you not be able to, I hope you will still look for the positive in what is a truly terrible negative.
