Being a couch potato?!?! Why on earth would anyone admit to being a couch potato?!?!

ree

I’ve recently taken up the hobby of embroidery (nothing fancy, just a few little easy beginner projects so far), and these past few days it seems I just have not been able to find the time to sit and work on my current project. Between appointments that needed to be kept, assignments that needed to be finished, household chores that needed to be completed, and just the business of life in general, it seemed there was just no time for embroidery. I’m sure that all of you out there can relate. This is a busy, fast paced, and demanding world that we live in and we all have obligations that must be met. While it’s important that we do our best to fulfill our obligations, it’s equally as important to remember it’s not necessarily the end of the world if all of those obligations aren’t fulfilled RIGHT NOW. We spend so much of our day rushing from place to place, or task to task, that we forget to slow down and enjoy ourselves. I’ve allowed myself the time to slow down today and enjoy working on my embroidery project, and I hope you will allow yourself the time to slow down and enjoy a hobby of your own.

Blessings, Candi 💕
